Welcome!! I was in 43 years. Thank goodness we woke up in time to live the years we have left outside the cult. I have never been happier. Waiting for your story. Where Do You Think Your Dear Loved Ones Are?

i know many here do not believe in anything biblical but i’m curious as to whether you believe anyone is in heaven?

Not Being Invited To Gatherings.

We did not receive many invitations, however my husband was always inviting someone over our house for dinner. It was really a lot of work for me and of course they never in turn invite you to their house.
I will never forget - we were invited over for dinner! Couldn't believe it. However, they received a phone call while we were there from another couple in the Hall and we were asked to leave, they had a better offer!! I would never do that to someone. It shows their lack of manners and did not care about our feelings.

A & E Cults-Barbara Anderson
by Joyzabel in16 years ago dateline's report on jw's and child abuse was aired may 28, 2002, a tuesday night and tonight a&e aired on may 29, 2018, tuesday night!.
i can't help but think how barbara has tirelessly worked to expose the child abuse issue within the watchtower/jw.org and is still working to not only expose the problem but to help change the laws in the usa to help protect children.
she has a wealth of information gathered for over 20 years on how the governing body protects the pedophile and not help the victims .

I watched the program last night. I still cannot stop thinking about it. I never thought about the people in prison that are studied with, some are molesters and they are brought into the congregations and of course no one is ever told they are child molesters. I am sick.
The other surprising thought was Barbara Anderson found in the files they have been paying people for years because of the child abuse. Don't you think that if Jehovah and Jesus were leading this organization they would put policies in place to protect children? And obviously they don't care about children but they care about their money. So why not put policies in place so they are not getting sued all the time? They really are stupid.
I cannot believe I spent over 40 years of my life in this cult. They need to go down and hopefully they are well on the way.

The property money: confront them with it

with all the jevanka story's at the moment, i got this morning the bad perception that jw.org is playing nice guy with al this maffia money that they got selling their property in brooklyn.. money earned by the buyers with bad deals, political tricks and maffia connected asshole's.. this money is funding all the nice multimedia at conventions and broadcasting.. maybe a nice topic to discuss at the jw chart at the streets on our towns.. follow the money.
it's all about money.. confronting them with this dirty money laundry is a strong argument.. what do you think about this???.

I know everyone posts here how much money they made selling the buildings and yes they did. However, what if they have been borrowing against the buildings for years? Maybe that is why they needed to sell and get out from under the debt. They stopped getting money from the magazines years ago and maybe they tapped into the equity in those buildings to keep functioning?? So when they sold the buildings they had to pay off the debt and they did not come out with a lot of money?? Just a thought.

I agree they are going to change something big. However, I do not see how it could be 1914. They are stuck with that. The overlapping generation is based on that. Also, Jesus chose THEM and ONLY THEM in 1918 or 1919 (sorry I can't remember which one). If 1914 isn't true then they were not chosen and it is a fraud, a scam, not true! They say the devil was cast out of heaven at that time and the resurrection began.
In speaking with my dad who now totally shuns me just because I left, he doesn't understand the teachings, not even simple things. He told me that is not important. He is going to obey and get to live in the paradise.

I don't know about the top picture, it is difficult - that thought didn't come to mind. But what is disturbing is the bottom right picture, the woman sitting talking to Jesus. Her hands are severly deformed and it looks like a claw is coming out of her thumb. What does it look like to you?

Grocery Store conversation with an elder

When I knew for sure it was not the truth, I had to help my husband out. He was sick of the truth too by this time, but he is not the kind that would do the research that is needed to free yourself of the beast. So we were still going. After I showed my husband the facts and read Crisis of Conscience he knew it was not the truth. We left and never went back. We are now marked and totally shunned but after 43 years how could I give them another day of my life?
